WELCOME TO TI PARADI, HAITI

Welcome to Ti Paradi !! Ti Paradi is a tiny village located on the southern coast of Haiti's Northwest Peninsula. It is the definition of struggle and poverty. The entire community is composed of about 60 families living on fish and conch harvested from the sea and a few vegetables grow in extremely poor soil. A few years ago Living Waters began a ministry there and in recent years have been joined by Global Compassion Ministries and Sustainable Food Production. Watch this blog to view the various projects being initiated there.

Here is a sketch of an improved home that Global Compassion will be building
to replace 10 of the huts at Ti Paradi. The roof will be covered with corregated
metal thus allowing for installing guttering at a later date to collect water.
The cost will be about $2000.00 per hut. If you would like to help off set the
costs of this project, please inquire at jwpstl@earthlink.net.

  1. What an amazing improvement for these people. God bless you for your willingness to share with those in need. Most North Americans do not even realize that people live this way. Keep buiding for others. Christ is building for you in the place called Our Eternal Home.

  2. Joe, I'm Joan, the daughter of Jim and Doris Bounds. Dad asked me to let you know that Richard Taylor has passed away. I imagine you already knew, but he felt like you might want to include a comment in the "Guest Book", sponsored by the Post Dispatch. The address is: http://www.legacy.com/gb2/default.aspx?bookid=6189186228782&cid=full
Dad wants to make himself available for any information you may need concerning Richard. He said you'd be the first one that would want to know about Richard.
Sorry to use this medium. It's all I knew for the time. Our email is: jdbounds@charter.net.
As for me, I love what I see on your blog, your ministry. Exciting, for sure!
